Last Wednesday, my sister and I went to go watch "L change the World." I don't really know much about Deathnote, but it was a Japanese movie with subtitles ACTUALLY playing at a theater in my city. So, we went. And it was really good. BUT HOLY CRAP IT WAS EXPENSIVE. It was $12.50 for the ticket, which is about twice as much as it usually costs here. Stuff kept coming up about the dub and my sister and I kept laughing because the guy doing L's voice in the dub was one of the guys that played in Battlestar Galactica. We were waiting for our ride and my sister and I played a few rounds of Dead or Alive (the very first one). It was terrbile. DOA is so awful (although I've heard the newer one isn't as bad).
Anyway, at the end of this month, my sister and I were going to go to A-Kon but we decided not to since LM.C had to cancel because of SWINE FLU. How friggin lame. Instead, it sounds like we'll go to Six Flags on Friday (I haven't been there since I was in 7th grade) and Saturday and Sunday we'll go to Austin to hang out and do something.
My sister and I just aren't having any luck with the Japanese musicians anymore. We tried to go see Miyavi but my supervisor wouldn't let me have the time off. Now this. -_-;
Ah, but it's still rumored that Dir en grey may come back again. I've seen them six (?) times now...
